Are you Struggling to Slow Down?Hi there Reader, There is one big harsh truth that most people don't want to hear, but I'm going to say it: ๐ You can either slow down by choice and work on healing yourself. OR ๐ Your body will choose when you slow down and youโll be forced to adjust to your bodyโs limitations as it crashes. As someone who dealt with the latter, I try to encourage the former! Crashing completely is HARD to recover from. I always hope to help people prevent themselves from getting there. "But I can't slow down, I'm too busy. I have too many responsibilities and engagements. I have to keep going." ^^ If this is you AND you have a chronic illness AND you feel like you're at the end of your rope I hope that you can realize that you CAN slow down. ๐ A year or so of less activities isn't going to hurt you or your kids. Reducing your workload to what is normal (instead of working as hard as possible) is OK. Making changes that will help you is possible- sometimes you just need to really think about what that looks like for you. >>So many people that are busy 24/7/365 are RUNNING from themselves. They stay busy because their subconscious knows that the moment they slow down they will be forced to heal, and this often include intense emotional releases. ๐ข But here's the thing- you can either choose to slow down and work on things in a comfortable way, or your body will choose for you when it reaches it's absolute limit. ๐ญ I personally dealt with the latter. I pushed and pushed and pushed and crashed SO hard. On top of that, I was dealing with several family traumas AND a severe mold issue, and it's taking me years to get back to "normal". ๐You do have choices in life, even when it doesn't feel like it. I say these things because I've been there, and I know how hard it is. And I do not want to see people suffering the same way. โค๏ธ Do your best to treat yourself better so that you can heal. Feeling overwhelmed, staying busy constantly, and feeling exhausted are all huge signs of nervous system dysfunction. Slowing down is a big part of healing (because you can't keep up the same practices that made you sick if you want to heal!).

If you are currently waiting on reports, please know that we're just getting caught up. The lab didn't process anything for about 2 weeks straight (likely due to some weather issues) and they have sent a lot over to us this last week. We're all working as quickly as we can to get reports out. Sorry for the delay!
