The 13 BIGGEST Ways that Aloe Vera Can Help YOU!
Hi there Reader,
Aloe Vera was one of the very first natural remedies I personally used to start my holistic healing journey. This is why it always has a special place in my heart, and it's a staple in many of our HTMA plans.
Most people only use aloe for sunburns- and while that is a great way to use it, there are SO many other benefits it has!
These are the 13 biggest things that aloe supports better health:
- Balances blood sugar; can prevent diabetes
- Cleanses the colon and aids in detoxification because it helps to stimulate bile production in the liver
- Soothes inflammation, especially for the gut lining but it can help with overall body inflammation
- Helps promote hair growth
- Heals and seals the gut lining
- Reduces oxidative stress
- Strengthens the immune system
- Helps heal ulcers
- Helps acid reflux, whether it is from true over-acidity or from too little acid
- Has been shown to possibly prevent cancer
- Helps to heal gum disease
- Provides nutrients like zinc, copper, magnesium, folate, B12, B1, B2, B6, niacin, A, E and C
- Helps with histamine/mast cell issues (source). This is why it’s one of our favorite remedies to start with to help those with many intolerances due to histamine and mast cell issues. It helps to calm down this stress so that they can start to heal and add more foods and herbs to their healing plan.
There are a few ways you can use aloe vera, but my favorite has always been George's brand as this is the one that helped me so significantly. You can read more about how to use aloe in the post linked here:

Marshmallow is Amazing too!
Marshmallow root is another super helpful herb for calming overall inflammation in the body. It's very similar to aloe as it can help with healing/sealing the gut lining, reducing oxidative stress, and supports a healthy colon.

Chickweed Can Also Help!
All 3 herbs mentioned in this post are huge inflammation fighters. Chickweed is also a nutritive herb, which means that in an herbal infusion form you can get a very significant amount of nutrients along with the incredible benefits of the herb itself.

Thoughts of the day:
"🌱Did you know that at the beginning of the 1900s, many doctors in the US were actually homeopaths? And then when the AMA was created, they decided to turn against homeopaths and forced them to either conform to allopathy or quit being a doc altogether? Then what happened?
